Taxi Industry and Taxi Recapitalisation South Africa launch first Container Retail Spares Shop.
A collaborative effort between all taxi associations operating from the Olievenhoutbosch Taxi Rank has resulted in the formation of a cooperative trading under the name “PRACZA” whose priority is to meet the needs of the taxi owners in accessing taxi spare parts within the minibus taxi industry.
This new company, is comprised of Pretoria Randburg Soshanguve Taxi Association (PRSTA), Randburg united Local and Long Distance Taxi Association (RULLDTA), Atteridgeville Saulsville Taxi Owners Association (ASTOA), Centurion Taxi Association (CTA), Zwanani Marabastad Taxi Association (ZMTA) and Alexandra Randburg Midrand Sandton Taxi Association (ARMSTA). Through the company, the associations have ventured into the sale of vehicle parts with support from the Taxi Recapitalisation South Africa (TRSA). This new venture, is in keeping with the resolutions of the 2020 National Taxi Lekgotla during which, the taxi industry and government declared their commitment to formalise and professionalise the taxi industry in effort to diversify the taxi industry’s value chain opportunities.
The container retail spares shop will officially be launched by the leadership of the taxi industry, government and TRSA. Members of the media are cordially invited to attend the launch as per the details below:
